The Realms This image is just a representation of the three realms, not an actual depiction of them. As you can see, the three realms are Earth, Hell and Heaven. They are actually more like alternate dimensions that are all connected with one another. Earth is the largest realm, many times larger than Hell and Heaven combined. Hell is the second biggest and Heaven is the smallest- but the difference between the two is minute. All immortals have the ability to teleport from realm to realm freely, but mortals cannot. Humans cannot enter Heaven or Hell, also known as the after-life realms, because (1) they cannot teleport and (2) they are living. For the living to enter a realm other than Earth then need assistance from the undead. For a living creature to stay in an after-life realm takes a lot of life force and they die pretty quickly. To survive for a prolonged period of time, they need to have an immortal attached to them, feeding them energy (life force). Also, when one assumes the position of leader of one of the after-life realms, they are automatically ascended to god status. The God of Hell/Heaven. This limits them to only being able to ascent once more and cannot master both their primary and secondary powers. They can, however, revoke their realm god status at any time and gain the ability to master their two powers.
